If you pass by the european neighborhood you should definitely go to Living Room. It feels just like « home sweet home ». Everything here makes you feel comfy, so be careful as you might stay longer than planned ! You’ll get delicious coffee and the pastries homemade by Anne are amazing! Pacha, one of the baristas, will make you laugh with his extravagant sense of humor 🙂

Week-end : 10am to 6pm

OR Espresso bar

Another hotspot in the european neighborhood is « OR » ! The interior is pretty rough (?) brute, with brick walls, industrial style with a touch of design (of course, duh). Not speaking french ? No problem ! The very friendly staff here is bilingual 🙂 You won’t be disappointed by their coffee, skilled baristas such as Heleen and Trieze are behind the counter ! And it goes for the food and the pastries as well.

Adress ; 13 A, place Jourdan, 1040 Etterbeek

Opening hours : from Monday to Friday : 7.30am to 5pm / Saturday : closed / Sunday : 9am to 5pm

Oh and yeah, surprise ! There’s also another OR café in the city center : 9, rue A. Ortsstraat, 1000 Bruxelles (across the « Bourse »)

Opening hours : from Monday to Friday : 8am to 6pm / Saturday : 9am to 6pm / Closed Sunday

Hinterland

Julien and Olivia opened this very nice modern cantine between Chatelain and St Gilles where the coffee and the food is amazing ! This « urban refuge » has a nice and cozy interior, wooden atmosphere, with soothing music. A great choice of vegetarian and vegan food and drinks are also available, so everyone can enjoy the place 🙂 Special acknowledgment for their banana-bread, it’s TO DIE FOR ! Right Jake ?

Adress : 179 chaussée de Charleroi, 1060 Saint-Gilles

Opening hours : Monday to Friday : 8am to 6.30pm / Saturday : 9am to 6pm / Sunday : 10am to 6pm
